Capture web content to Outlook 2003

There are many products that allow capturing web content including URL
and meta data. Using Outlook with exchange it would be good to be able
to capture this content to Outlook so it is indexable and syncronized
on exchange server.

I would recommend to look into Microsoft OneNote. It sounds like the
tool you are looking for:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/onenote/

In order to get indexing and synchronization to a server (SharePoint,
file server), you will have to wait for OneNote 2007 though. The current
version, OneNote 2003, does not support that. The good news is though
that the public beta 2 of OneNote 2007 (and the rest of Office 2007) is
only a couple of weeks away according to some Microsoft Office blogs.

Thanks Roady, I know Outlook inside out and I want to be able to have
my data indexable and available online or on any of my computers
syncronized. A comment further down suggests one note 2007. I am sick
of not being able to access and sync my information online and offline.
I dont want to look everywhere to find something I saved last year. I
want to access the information wherever I am and if I make a change
then all linked software will have a copy. To date outlook and hosted
exchange mostly works but is tedious for saving content from the web.

Hope that makes sense

Your situation definitely sounds like you would like OneNote 2007. It's
not going to solve ALL your problem, as you are still going to have your
emails mostly separately (if you don't send every email you want to have
indexed to OneNote, which is fairly easy to do). Also you are going to
have to think how to integrate your files into it in the best way.
I would suggest you download OneNote 2007 Beta 2 once it is available
(that should be the case in the next couple of weeks) and then post a
description of your environment/scenario in the OneNote newsgroup. I'll
be happy to help you figure out what the best way of using OneNote 2007
for your scenario is then. I have been running ON 2007 myself since
November with two machines synced together.
