Capturing bullet number

I have a large document (120 pages) numbered using 1.2.3
number scheme.

I need to export the document to rtf format.

Is there a way to capture the numbering scheme and make it
part of the text for exporting to rtf?

The vba command

ActiveDocument.ConvertNumberstoText

will do what you want.
