Capturing high res images from a dvd

Hi sledgehammer,

If you're referring to images for TVs etc, you can't - because they're actually not high resolution. Even a 1920x1080 HDTV image is
barely 2 megapixels (enough for a 5.33*3in image @ 360dpi).

What has this got to with Mircosoft Word?
Come back anytime you have any problem with MS Word.

excuse me if i posted the question in the wrong place. i'm new to this.
perhaps you could suggest a better place to post the question?

It's not from tv. it's from a DVD i made myself. I have opportunity of
publicity but was told the images i'd captured needed to be higher res. I
don't even know how to check to see what res the images are. sorry... new to
this.
