Cardscan Business Card scanner to BCM transfer

I have Cardscan to easily put my customer information into the computer. Is
there a way that I can scan the business cards and transfer them into BCM
without duplicating entries that are already in BCM. The problem that I have
is that if there is the slightest difference between the scanned card and my
existing entry it imports the scanned card creating an almost exact duplicate.
