Cascading Drop Down boxes

My boss wants me to design a form for our database which allows the user to
select from a reduced set of options each time they click on subsequent drop
down boxes (i.e. it only finds matches from within previous selections).
These are currently all in one table but the final selection then needs to be
added to another table as an entry.

Just no idea how to tackle this...HELP!!!
