Cascading drop downs in browser forms

How come the cascading drop down list contains a value that does not belong
the the second drop down.

For Ex: I chose Item one from Drop 1, Drop 2 populates with entries, I
decide i pick the wrong one and go back to drop 1 to pick the correct item,
then chose drop 2 to pick what I need but it contains the previous value.
How do I get rid of that? I have done Drop1 is not blank, then drop1 is
blank, it helps but it still contains the value. What should I do? How do I
force the drop down to clear out if i decide to chose another item by
mistake. Thanks for your time.

Hi,
Add a rule on drop down1 that to set the drop down 2 value to empty always
(Don’t add any condition).

When using InfoPath Forms, Cascading Dropdown are not possible out of
the box, as filtered data feature is not accepted.

Visit the following link, you will see a solution, without
webservices, 100% InfoPath.

I explain a step by step how to use Cascading dropdows, with wetherver
