Pertaining to FP98...
I use Photoshop 6.0 to automatically create web-photo galleries. It takes all the photos in a
folder, creates thumbnails, full-size images, an "index.html" page, and an individual .html page for
each full-sized photo.
When it does this, the photo-names remain unchanged- IE: DMC001.JPG stays DMC001.JPG - in the
relevant photo and thumbnail folders, and in the .html created.
However, when I upload the completed galleries to my server, the file names all get changed to
lower-case letters IE: DMC001.JPG becomes dmc001.jpg , this "breaks" the hyperlinks on all the
pages, and the images cannot be found.
For the smaller galleries, it's easy to just rename all the pictures before having Photoshop create
the gallery. However, some of my galleries contain 50+ photos. Renamimg them all is a PITA...
Is there a setting somewhere in FP98 or within the FP server extensions to tell it to leave the case
of the filenames alone?
Thanks....
