It uses a simple contacts database for the purposes of showing how
images can be handled in an Access database, but could very easily be
adapted to your purposes. Each 'contact' is the equivalent of an
'album'.
It works by storing the paths to the image files in a text column in
the table and loading the image into a lightweight image control on
demand at runtime. The same image can be assigned to multiple
contacts (albums) if necessary and can be titled. By default the
title is the file name.
I now have a more developed version of the application with an opening
form from which one or more contacts(albums) can be selected for
viewing or editing, and in which a subset of images per contact
(album) can be selected for inclusion in a report. If you are
