Categories: 2000 vs. 2007

Hi,

I have upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2007.

I used to be able to create views by filtering my custom category names.

Now when I try to filter by category, all I see are "color categories".

Any ideas on how to create views with my old categories? (my old custom
cat's are still there, but color cats are the only ones displayed in the
category box.)

Did you right click on the root of your mail store and select Properties->Upgrade to Color Categories?

Milly; I am having the same problem with categories. I do not understand
your suggestion to right click on the "root of your mail store" Where is the
"root of my mail store"? Thank You

It is either Outlook Today (personal folders) or Mailbox - Profile (Exchange.)
