Categories in Public Folders

The master list for categories in contacts seem to be
stored locally on your PC. Is it possible to have a
master list that is available to everybody on the server
without having to enter them individually on each
computer. It is a Public Folder, so I therefore presume
there must be a way of having a public (shared) category
list?
