I have a number of questions regarding Outlook Tasks.
Recently our server died and when the new server was installed and we loaded
our Outlook 2007 for each staff member, our tasks no longer had the colours
allocated to each task category. We are using XP on most computers and some
with Vista.
1. Is there a way to reinstall Outlook and keep all the task colours with
categories for each staff member when loading from a backup?
My staff (11 staff) use Tasking to interact with each other to keep track of
work in progress. Prior to our computers going down, all staff could access
each others tasks, see their categories with colours and update them or put
notes in them as and when required (they all have Editor rights). Now some
staff can see and access all the members tasks with the correct categories
and some staff cannot get the other persons categories or colours at all. I
have checked and they have Editor rights but still cannot access the other
person’s categories.
2. Can someone help and advise why we can access and some but not all?
I have one staff member who is using Vista. None of the other staff can
access her task categories at all but we used to be able to. She was using
Vista prior to the new server installation and we could all access the tasks
and categories with colours.
3. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Thanks - Lizzys
