Category and project view limitations - security

Currently, when creating a category there is security options to allow
you to manaully select the projects that can be visible within the
category. Is there a method to automatically limit the projects that a
category belongs to without it being a manual process?

Each Category gives you three options to determine which projects users can
access through their security Group members:

1. All current and future projects (blanket permission to all projects)
2. Specific projects you add to the project list on the right
3. Let Project Server figure it out based on the four options you can
select below the project list

The third option automatically limits the projects, but the limitation must
be on one to four of the four available options. If you want an automatic
