I don't understand what you mean by the term "shared documents site." Are
you referring to the list of projects saved in the Project Server database,
visible when you click File - Open in Microsoft Project 2003? If so, you
cannot create sub-folders. Instead, the Project Server administrator should
create custom enterprise Project outline codes for this purpose. Each PM
will have to select a value for each custom enterprise Project outline code
in the Project Information dialog (click Project - Project Information).
Once done, each PM can click File - Open in Microsoft Project and then apply
grouping on any of the custom enterprise Project Outline codes.
If you are talking about the project workspace for a project, or the Public
Documents library, you can create a subfolder by clicking the New Folder
button in the relevant Document Library. Hope this helps.
