CD Key #

I just purchased a new desktop unit. I also purchased Office 97 several years ago. I would like to install the software on my desktop but do not have the CD Key# from the original package. I do have the product ID#, however. Is there any way for me to install this software to keep from having to buy a new version? Thanks.

Normally I'd recommend downloading keyfinder, aida32 or Balarc, but
I'm not sure that they work with O97. Wouldn't hurt to give them a
try. Do a google search.

Failing that, you can try calling Microsoft, but O97 may just be too
old for their support.
