CD Write/ReWrite Problm

Q

Quippian

Am trying to burn Publisher 2007 and Word 2007 files to CD.

Here's the problem:
- I drag a file to CD.
- It says, "Files Ready to be Written to CD."
- I click, "Write These Files to CD."
- CD Writing Wizard displays, asking to type in CD name
- Click: Next
- Wizard displays: "Cannot Complete the Writing Wizard. This CD does not
have enough free space for all your files."

This CD (and all the others I've tried) are competely empty.
When I look at the CD properties it shows 211 MB of free space available.

None of the files I'm trying to burn to CD is larger than 375 KB.

What's wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Try posting your question in the applicable windows newsgroup. It's not an
Office issue.

Hi, Quippian,

Does the same problem happen with files that are NOT Office files (not Word
and Powerpoint---try a large Notepad file or something different). I don't
think this is a problem with Office, but with you burner or Windows or...

Try it with non-Office files to narrow it down. It could be, but I'd be
surprised.
