Has anyone heard of this situation? We run Access 2000 and have a db that
will allow various reports to be emailed (as RTF attachments) via Lotus
Notes. Most of the time everything goes fine. Sometimes (and a lot lately
with one individual) we don't get the expected rtf attachment. Sometimes we
get an attachment titled "CDB1.xls" or some variant of that (CDB1B.xls,
etc.) that is full of garbledy gook. Once that happens the user cannot
recreate/resend an email for that record/job because she'll always get the
goofy CDB1.xls file. But another user (with their own frontend copy of the
db) can create it correctly and then send it on the original person's
behalf. So... we do have a work around but I'd rather figure out what is
causing the problem (intermittently) in the first place.
Anyhow... long story short... any idea what would cause a corruption of the
attachment we really are expecting? Thanks for any ideas or help provided.
