CDO approach to Email

Hi

I would like to add a feature to my database where I could automatically
generate emails to distribute. My problem is that my company run Lotus Notes
not Outlook so the normal sendmail prompt wont work.

I was thinking about using CDO as i used this in an Excel project i
completed recently, does anyone have any info or a link to anywhere which
provides any info on this method?

Or does anyone know of any other way I could go about this task?
