Word 2002. On my wife's computer (Windows XP) the cell borders in a table
are not displayed on the monitor. Paragraph marks do display; end of cell
marks do display; however, the faint outline of each cell -- which I have
ALWAYS seen whenever I have used WORD anywhere -- are not displayed. She
would like the borders to display so it is obvious that she is working in a
table.
The table is set up so that the borders are invisible when printed. And, I
know that I could work around this by putting in visible borders that would
print, then removing them before printing. But, that seems like a real
indirect way to achieve what she and I would like.
Is there some display option switch that I cannot find that will make the
expected faint table outline appear on her monitor screen?
