cell formats

I continue to receive the error message "To many
different cell formats". This will not allow me to change
the aligment, decimal points, borders, colors (either
background or font), fonts, etc. How do I remove the
formats or use a global format to change the entire
workbook.

A different format according to excel includes different font sizes, bold
etc. It really doesn't handle this too well.

Can you select all and apply a style (Format>Style...). This will apply one
style to all and may let you then make customisations the same way by using
the currency style, etc. This will ensure you are only using pre-defined
and uniform formatting. (These style can be added to but I believe are
seldom used in Excel by users.
