cell formatting problem

[Celeste]

I have a spread sheet that I have used successfully for
almost 2 years. Now all of a sudden it it "possessed"!!
I have one column that contains zip codes. Now when I
enter one, I type 76642 and when it displays it is
766.42. I have several others doing the same thing. I
have used the Format Cells option to no avail. Can
someone help?!?!?

If "Fixed Decimal" is checked then
