Can it be that the gridlines are too faint to be visible? Maybe an
adjustment to the monitor is needed (more contrast).
Or have you used a 'fill' on the cells? In all version of Excel, gridlines
are hidden by fill and one must add a border (Home | Fonts | Border tool )

Hi,

I add to additions to Bernard's response -

1. If cells have borders set you may not be able to see the gridline.
2. Gridlines may not display when you are in a Table because of the default
formats.
3. Gridlines may not display when you are in a Pivot Table because of the
default formats.
4. Gridlines may not be visible if their color matches those of the cells.

If this helps, please click the Yes button

Cheers,
