Cell illumination

Wondering if anyone knows how to make the illumination of a cell brighter when you click to enter information? Ordinarily the cell is illuminated with a blue glow however I find that it is awkward to see.

The coloring of the cell selector is controlled by the operating system. To
change it go to Apple Menu> System Preferences> Appearance & experiment with
different Highlight Colors. Just keep in mind that whatever color you choose
will also be used globally in all programs when you select text, so you
don't want to select anything too dark ‹ otherwise you'll need to switch it
again when you use Word or other programs. "Bright" rather than "dark" seems
to work best... I personally keep mine set to Pumpkin.
