Please help - it is driving me crazy. I have a column
of "total points" it is a simple sum of cells across the
row from a-al and the formula is copies in all the cells
down the column so that it adds each row. Simple stuff -
right. Cells am:3 to am:16 will not add correctly. All
other cells in the column add correctly. When you view
the individual cell that is adding incorrectly the formula
is correct but it doesn't work. I have deleted and
recopied the formula down the column from am:1 man times.
I have manually entered the formula in each cell down the
column and it still won't work to add correctly across the
row. Any ideas? Each semester I have to manually add the
grades and enter the data in the cell as a numeric entry
instead of a formula so that the rest of my gradebook
