cell on sheet 1 equals cell on sheet two

When I calculate the value for eg: On sheet 1 where cell A1 equals cell A1 in
sheet 2. that is no problem. Can sheet 1 cell A1 keep track of sheet 2 cell
A1 if it is moved lower down in the row for example when sorting numbers from
higher to lower and not just staying by A1 on sheet 2.

Generally speaking sorting cells with formulas is not a good idea.
