Cell selection color

I am having difficulty seeing which cell my cursor is in because the outline color is a pale, pale blue. Is there any way to change the preference of the color that shows where my cursor is? I've looked in Excel Preferences, but I can't seem to find anyplace to specify how I want my cursor cell identified

Thanks

You don't say which version of XL you're using, so I'll assume v.X or
04. The highlight color is set in the Appearance control pane in System
Preferences.

You'll need to close and reopen XL before the new color takes effect.

Thank you Mr. McGimpsey! I have OS 10.3 Panther...and your explanation was exactly what I needed. Now I can see which cell I'm in very clearly. Thank you so very much!!
