Cell Sizing

I entered more than one line of data in a cell. I then had to delete the data that mde the cell wide. Now I can't get the cell back to it's original size. I have laid my cusor on the bottom of the cell... I get the double arrow and drag up but it won't
go back up. I have tried to resize the width of the row, yet it won't change. What am I doing wrong?

Go to the Row tab of Table Properties and clear the check box for "Specify
height." Disable automatic resizing (Table Properties | Table | Options). If
all else fails, resize the column using the old Cell Height and Width dialog
(see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/TablePropProbs.htm).

Thank-you for your quick response. I'm slowly wadeing through your info and the link you sent me is fantastic
I have made the customization to my Tools options. But I can't rename it like the instructions say because when I right click the name I get no options. Is there another way to rename a menu item? Cathe

You must right-click the menu item while you have Tools | Customize open.
You'll then get a menu that includes the Name box.
