I am in a info systems class and we use excel 07 for pc. There is a button on this called cell styles where you can pick one of the formatted styles for your work book. I cannot find this on macs version and deperatly need it. It controls the formatting need for the heading if this helps.

Which version of Excel for Mac? - 2008 is somewhat different from 2004 which
is somewhat different from X... All of which differ from 2007.

I have 2008, I use 2007 at school, I just need the preset functions that format the page for titles

Now you've lost me completely - Are you referring to Headers & Footers?

If so you can go to File> Page Setup - Header/Footer or you can switch to
Page Layout View, point above/below the cells & activate the Header/Footer
areas that way.

OTOH, If you're referring to the Print Titles feature that enables
reprinting your captions at the top of columns on each page you'll find that
in Page Setup - Sheet.

Other than that I'd need a far more accurate indication of what you're
trying to find - neither of these features have anything to do with the Cell
Styles button in 2007. Describe exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

I will try to be more accurate here. On the 2007 version on windows machines, it has the cell styles button. In this tab it has a spot that say titles and heading. In here you can pick themed cell styles such as accent with there percentages. I need to know how to get this stuff such as accent and what not.

OK, that narrows it down to the Home Tab, Styles Group - Cell Styles, which
simply is a convenience feature not included in 2008. However, those styles
include *nothing* that can't be applied in 2008 & you can create your own
Styles to expedite applying the formats. Just determine what the attributes
are (right-click the style name in the Titles & Headings gallery, choose
Modify & note the attributes included) then in 2008 go to Format> Style,
type in a name & set the same attributes.

I guess my question is, is there a title and headings button on office 2008 for apple, and is there anyway to apply a accent (with percentage) to excel with 2007. I found out how to accent a chart but not my cells.

Now I'm confused. By titles and headings do you mean page titles? If so go
to File-Page Set up and click on headers and footers. If by accent you mean
format or highlight, look in the formatting palette.

I can not find accent percentages in the pallette. In 2007 when you click on cell styles it has accent 20%, 40% 60% 80% and then just accent. That is what i want. Other is when you click on cell styles you can click a window that say title it it will format your title (which you have highlighted) in that preset. If you click the total button, it will put the lines above and below and so on.
