Cell wrap issue - why is the height notauto-adjusting to show all the text?

In the past, when I had a cell whose alignment was set to wrap and I entered a lot of text in that field, the field's height would automatically adjust to show all the wrapped text.

But lately this has stopped happening - I have to manually stretch the height of the row in order to see all the wrapped text.

Did I change some setting somewhere that causes this? Anybody know how to change it back?

Thanks,

Couple of possibilities to check:

1) If you've manually set a row height, the height stays at that
setting. Choose Format/Row/AutoFit to reset it.

2) If your cells are merged, autofit doesn't work. In previous versions,
and the next version, you could use a macro to perform an iteration that
simulated autofit, but that option isn't available in XL08.

Thanks, J.E.

Format/Row/AutoFit did it.

I don't know why I didn't look there - I was spending all my time looking at the options in CMD+1 (Format/Cells).

Thanks!

p.s. What is XL08? I have been using Office 2004 for the last few years, tried OpenOffice and found too many issues with my existing stuff and so upgraded to Office 2008. I'm still using the trial and waiting for my licensed package to arrive. I quite like the new look and feel of all the apps so far.
