Cell's breaking across pages

E

Eric

I need some help here....I have a table in Word 2002 with an extremely long
cell that begins at the top of the page and continues beyond the bottom. I
have the properties of the table set to break across pages, however when I
enter text at the bottom of the page in that cell, it disappears and does
not go into the next page. Any ideas?

Thanks,

BBanton

If you're working in Print Layout view, it's possible that you've
inadvertently nudged the table handle and caused the table to become
"wrapped" (it doesn't take much of a nudge). Although the default for Word
2002 is to allow wrapped tables to break across pages, if this is a legacy
document, the compatibility options (Tools | Options | Compatibility) may be
set differently. In any case, go to Table Properties and make sure that the
Table tab has wrapping set to None rather than Around.

Hmm. Very puzzling. Would it be possible to break the text over two rows?
