Cells Don't Update

Have a client who enters some formulas into a shared
workbook, the cells do no automatically update. The file
has to be saved and then click in the cell to perform the
update. Client file was created in 2000, he is now running
Excel XP. Ideas?

First off - look in Tools>Options>Calculation. Make sure
that automatic is chosen under calculation. It may be
that this has been turned off purposefully though (for
whatever reason). You can press F9 at any time to
recalculate when calculation is set to manual.
