No - try using include pages or see below
When you use a left shared border FP creates 100% width table with 3 columns (cells)
Left column (your shared left border), 24 px spacer column, right column your page content.
The only way to "balance" the page w/ shared borders is to apply an equal width right shared border (w/ say a transparent .gif same
width as your left shared border content)
