Centering frames website in browser window

I

Ian R

Good Morning,

I am designing a frames website (using FP2000) with 3 frames (header,left
side contents frame and main frame) but I am having a bit of a problem
getting it to to align properly in a browser window. The header is a .jpg
that is 800 pixels wide, the contents frame is 200 pixels wide and the
content of every page that displays in the main frame is contained in a 1x1
table that is 600 pixels wide (aligned left.)

My questions are:
- How do I force the website to display in the center of a browser window
(it currently displays on the left hand side)
- How do I force the main frame scroll bar to be beside the 600 pixel table,
aligned with the right hand edge of the header (it currently is on the right
hand side of the browser window.)
- Is there any way to put a border around the entire frameset?
- I would like to have general heading "buttons" in the contents frame with
more comprehensive navigation menus that fly out to the right when you click
on the heading. Is this possible in the current frames site that I have set
up?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian

Stay under 760 px wide total.

Stay away from frames unless y ou absolutely need them.

Rob's advice is very good ... your 800 wide image is tooooo wide. Why don't
you built a 'template' page that you can use over andover for the content.
Build it, Save it, Open it, SaveAS the other pages for your site.
mytemplate.htm becomes contact.htm etc.

If your really mean a HTML Frameset, there are no means of centering it.
