Centering picture between columns

Maria

I'm using Word 2000 and can't seem to get a picture
centered across two columns with some text on the right
and left, top and bottom. No matter which selection I
make in the layout dialog box, I can't make it happen.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Maria,

Select the picture and then from the Format menu, select Picture and then go
the the Layout tab and set the Wrapping style to Square or Tight. Then you
will be able to click and drag the picture to the desired position between
the two columns and the text will flow around it.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

Hi, Maria,

Either "Square" or "Tight" text wrapping will do. (They behave
differently only if you're using a non-rectangular picture.)
