Centering Text while in landscape view

In a Word document, landscaped, I cannot get my text centered. I've checked
my page setup which is fine. I've tried Ctrl/E as well as the center button
on my toolbar. It centers the text at 3" even though my margins are 11" x
8-1/2. I don't have this problem in "portrait". Can anyone help me?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?YnBlcnJl?=,

It works fine, here. Are you seeing this just in a particular document, or in
all new documents?

If you press Ctrl+Q, then apply the center alignment again, do you see
anything different?

Have you checked the right indent setting for the paragraph?
