Central Distribution Lists

Outlook Support Newbie Alert. Please be gentle...

I am running multiple standalone instances of Outlook 2003 on WinXP Pro.
I want to have a central/server contacts list that includes distribution
lists maintained by an administrator.

Is there a way to do this without installing new software?

Is there a reason you don't want to use Exchange Server? The only reason
Outlook exists is to be the client for Exchange Server. Anything else
Outlook might try to do is a poorly implemented afterthought.

Perhaps you are asking for a way to share Outlook data without using
Exchange. I know of no good ones. If all you want to share is Contact data,
