Centralized Contact Lists

I am looking for a way to centralized a list of internal company email addresses as contacts within Outlook 2000 and Outlook XP. I am not using Exchange, just Outlook. Our internet provider is our POP3 and SMTP server. I am currently maintaining an Excel spreasheet to import into Outlook, but this is very time consuming. I have the clients setup with individual contact lists, but when an associate leaves or is a new hire, each client has to be updated individually with new or deleted info. Do I have to create a separate database to synchronize to? Any info or links would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you Russ, for your link reference. I did find that link from another post that you replied to, and have decidedly resolved myself to a life of manually updating my users contacts for the short term, at least until we migrate from W2K server to a Win2003 server edition with Exchange. I was actually hoping that someone may have come up with an alternate solution maybe by scripting and/or Group Policy. I am not a technical guru but a somewhat curious 'wanna-be techie' if you will. I'm not using any scripts or group policies at the moment, but am needing to learn it anyway for certification purposes.
Thanks again

The lack of any good sharing solutions for smaller workgroups has been one
of Outlook's most longstanding shortcomings. I don't know of any solutions
anyone has developed beyond the ones listed at that site.
