Centre on page

if I remember correctly, just drag the shape onto your page and do a copy
paste and the pasted item will be in the center of your view...so first zoom
to "fit page to screen", then "paste" (delete shape you "copied" if no
longer needed).

Of course placing a vertical and a horizontal ruler guide, crossing at page
center...then drag shape and let it snap to guides works well too and
provides a lasting reference.

Hello there,

Is there any way of centreing a shape on a page?

Thanks

Judith

If there is just the one shape on the page then
menu Shape -> Center Drawing

or in the shape's shapesheet set the LocPinY and LocPinX to be
ThePage!Pageheight/2 and ThePage!Pagewidth/2

Or use the "size and position" window and simply type in the desired center
position...which could be as easy as 0,0 if you first center the ruler
origin on the center of the page...otherwise for portrait 8.5 x 11 center is
at 4.25, 5.5
