Centre the Doc

Hi I am quite lazy, is there any way to centre a highlighted piece of text
just using a keyboard shortcut. For instance Ctrl and B is for bold you can
turn that on and off. I want to know if you can do the same sorta thing for
centring a line

Use the mouse to do

Help | Microsoft Word Help | Keyboard Shortcuts

You only have to do it once and you can print it out

The standard toolbar has a Centre icon. If yours hasn't you can always put
one on by customising. Know how to do that?

Hi Rowan,

I'm not lazy, but do prefer keyboard shortcuts to mousing whenever possible.
Once you've made you're selection, hold down Ctrl and type E. You can use
this key combination to set your cursor to the center, then type your
information, then re-type the combination to 'turn off' centering.

Cheers,
Karen )

that should centre the selection.
