In Powerpoint 2003, to centre text in a text box across the page, I used to:
1. Click on the Insert Text icon (on the drawing toolbar)
2. Click into the middle of the slide (right under the 0 on the ruler)
3. Click the centre icon (on the formatting toolbar)
4. Start typing - the text and text box would then centre itself nicely
across the page.
But in 2007, this does not work. The only text boxes that react this way
are the ones on the first slide (ie. title and subtitle).
Why doesn't the old way work anymore?
