Certain documents cause windows to freeze up when printing.

When printing certain documents containing both text and images from Word XP
Windows completely hangs for a good 20 - 30 seconds then Word crashes. This
does not occur on Word 97, 2000 or 2003.
Has anyone else suffered anything like this before or could shed some light?
If it helps the document was created in Word 2000.
