certain signature images recieved are reversed (inverted)

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Evey email i receive from my biz parter, the inline signature image shows with inverted colors. When i look at his message in yahoo mail (via safari), it shows correctly.

His emails show that the signature image is a png.

does anyone know why this is happening and how to make it show as normal?

PNG wasn't a very common file format when Entourage X was developed. He
may simply be using a newer version of the format that the older version
of Entourage X doesn't understand.

Suggest to him to use GIF or JPG.
