I have a certificate of Authenticity that goes w/my 2 office 2000 and I would
like to download it to my new computor w/xp sp2 it asks for the 25 digit #
and mine only has 20, should I use the 25 product key on my computer instead?
how can I enter a number in to activate excel specifically?

A 20-digit code is an OEM, meaning it came preinstalled on that system. You
cannot install it on any other computer. (That 25-digit code on the computer
is for Windows - and it can't be used an another computer either.) That's
why it's cheaper to buy Office preinstalled than retail. They'll get more of
your money the next time you buy a computer.
