CGIScripter 1.62 generates Perl CGI scripts for Access and SQL Server databases

CGIScripter is a multi-platform development application
($50) which is available for MacOS X, Windows, Linux and
Solaris. CGIScripter instantly writes robust Perl CGI
scripts allowing insert, query, update and delete of data
stored within MySQL, Oracle, Access and SQL Server
database tables. CGIScripter 1.62 provides developers with
enhanced flexibility in their choice of database servers
with the addition of Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL
Server databases.

The Perl CGI scripts generated for Access and SQL Server
databases for Linux/UNIX/MacOS X web servers utilize the
open source Perl DBIroxy software eliminating the need
for ODBC drivers to be installed on the web server. This
means that IT departments can save thousands of dollars
per web server which would normally be required in order
to license ODBC drivers for UNIX servers.

The demo edition of CGIScripter has been improved so that
potential customers can completely test the generation of
Perl CGI scripts to determine whether it will meet their
software development needs. The demo edition of
CGIScripter now provides full functionality for generating
Perl CGI scripts for all supported database servers and
saving configuration files. The demo edition is limited by
not allowing configuration files to be reloaded via the
Open... menu.
