ch setting

MS Word is set to display the measurement of indents, paragraph spacing &
tabs in ch (??). Could anybody tell me how I can change the default setting
to pt (points)? I have changed the setting in Tools, Options to cm, but can't
find anywhere where I can change the ch setting.
