Hi,
I was asked to create an infopath form to be served both online (with forms
server) and offline (with infopath client).
The problem is that the form has about 30 pages, over 250 validation rules,
about 100 "jump" rules (to show/hide other questions based on previous
answers), and so on...
The form is to be created only once, and used - as I said before - online
and offline.
There are other questions regarding the synchronization of offline clients
to the central database, and such... but we'll go there later on.
For now, just a few questions:
1 - Is this viable to do?
2 - How long would it take to create such a form?
3 - How many human resources would one need to do this?
4 - What kind of server for the online version and laptop for offline
version would one need?
P.S.: We need to give an answer to our client ASAP but we believe that this
couldn't be done in the timeframe we were given (the end of March, 2009).
