Challenges with New Website

Nadja

We just published our website and have two challenges:

1) The pictures on the website upload very slowly.
2) One of the pages (links) seems to be larger than the other. Tried to
change the size in "page set-up" in Front Page but it doesn't work.

Thanks for any suggestions.

1) Compress the pictures in an image editor to reduce the file size.
2) What is larger than the other, pages or links? Tried to change the size
how in page set up? Please provide a URL to the page.

Hello Tom,

Thanks for your quick reply, will try to reduce the size of the pictures.

The website is www.snorkelpark.com. When you click on "Contact", you will
see that there is a lot of space at the bottom. How can we get rid of it?

Thanks.

There are a few issues with both pages.
First: You've used word art. Word art only works in Internet Explorer.
Also if a visitor changes the font size in the page, word art changes size along with it.
( in IE 7 anyway )
I can make your entire page shrink to a spot about .......... big.

Second: You've used the space bar to position content. This is a definite No No.
Since spaces are considered text, when a visitor changes font sizes in their browser, the
spaces get resized and force the content to move all over the screen.

Not trying to be critical, just helpful
