Change an Administrative Project to a non-administrative project

Graham

Are there any suggested paths to change an administrative project (MSP
2003) to a normal (non-adminsitrative) project?

I have a user who created a schedule some time ago and has been
tracking the schedule for a few months and it's only become apparent
that it's an Administrative project. Any way for us to change to a
non-administrative project?

Thanks,

Hi Graham,

I know only one method. May the experts 'll know some other method less
rough.
On the server, with administrative permissions, in the Enterprise Manager,
expand the SQL Server Group, expand the database leaf, the ProjectServer
database, the Tables leaf.
Select the MS_PROJECTS table.
Right Click on it : Open a table / all the rows...
Set the PROJ_ADMINPROJECT field to 0 (instead of 1).
Close the Enterprise Manager.

Hope this helps,

You solution is not rough. It is simple and elegant. Thanks for sharing
