Change backup location or permissions

I just realized, from another posting, that backup for ON 2007 is stored
under Documents and Settings. I have a particular notebook I am using to
document work on documents which have a limited distribution to a group of
people. Those documents are stored in a location where Windows ACLs protect
the files and I have also created my ON notebook there. Now I recognize that
my ON notes are exposed under Documents and Settings. Even better than going
an changing the permissions in the ON backup directory, I'd like to store the
backup in a location where the notebook is stored. Can I change this?

Alternatively, is there a way the notebook backup can inherit the
permissions that the notebook has?

One thing to note, if you use a hardened password on the OneNote file it
is protected by true >128bit triple des encryption, not the easily
bypassed mechanism as the rest of office uses. So exposed might not be
the exact words for protected material, outside possibly of notebook
names and structure... Of course, if you forget your password...

But yes the backup location is changeable under options. The bad news
is that I fairly certain that all notebooks default to the same backup
location, so if you wanted some on a network drive and others in another
location it might not work so well in your case.
