change bypass key

I've used Startup to disallow access keys, full menus, shortcut menus and to
hide the database window. I'm wondering if there's a way to change the
bypass key for this database only from holding the shift key down to holding
a different key... say 'p' for example. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to
use Access User Security, so I'm just trying to protect the database as much
as possible.

Thanks in advance.

OK. I have got the project disabling the shift key bypass option, but I can
not get it to recognize the AutoKey that allows for bypassing the startup
options (and letting me into the backend) when the project is open.

I want ^P to set the AllowBypassKey property to true. How can this be done?

The whole purpose of the process for disableing the bypass key is to fix the
database file where users cannot just bypass the startup process you have
defined.

To disable the disabling of the bypass key you need to run the utility and
set the bypass back to enabled.

Only disable the bypass key on the file you distribute for your users to use.

I know of no way to have a key combination that will just enable or disable
the bypass key.
