change caused by service pack 2

Ben

Hello,
Prior to my upgrading to service pack 2 last week, the
following HTML fragment when clicked, automatically
switched to a page I had designed in powerpoint. The
powerpoint page automatically resized to occupy the full
screen. Since i converted to SP2 the page now comes up as
a small window which can be maximised, but even when
maximised it leaves a one inch border to the left and to
the right of the page. if you got www.precision-
charts.com and click on "sample reports on the top right
of the screen , you'll see what I mean.
How can i make this revert to how it used to behave
before i upgraded to SP2 i.e the page should
automatically occupy the full screen.

Thank you

Im sorry about the omission of critical information.
The upgrade I'm taking about is from XP to xp service
pack 2
Publisher version is 2003
Powerpoint 2003
IE explorer 6

The only thing that has changed is the upgrade of XP.
The page prepared by powerpoint used to automatically
fill the screen and it still does if viewed by a computer
that has not been upgraded with service pack 2.
I have tried re-publishing both the powerpoint and
publisher files but it still opens the page in a small
window which can be maximised but even when maximised,
there is a margin to the left and right of the image.
You say that the code instructs the window to open 600 x
400. What change to the code should I make to instruct it
to fill the screen.
Any idea as to why the upgrade should have made it change
it's behaviour.
Thank you

Unfortunately you left out a critical detail. Service Pack 2 of ???????
Office/Publisher? What version? Windows OS? What version? Internet Explorer?
What version?

Another important thing here is - did you republish the Publisher web site
'after' the installation of whomever?

Now the code snippet you enclosed here is coded to open a window of 600 by
400, meaning the opening of a small window (of 600 X 400 obviously) would be
the correct, expected behavour.

As such I'd suspect that this has nothing to do with Publisher nor is
anything Publisher can affect. Rather it's a matter of the client browser and
what it wants to do, meaning the display may vary by client.

Just another word to clarify the point referring to the
window. The behaviour of the code in the past was that
the page prepared in powepoint took over the entire
screen. It was not in a window at all.
It may be that this is not publisher window but it's
strange that it should behave differently on machines
that have been upgraded to Sp2. any suggestions of how to
progress would be useful
Thank you

I have just discovered that the problem is to do with the
script that I'm using to open the Window in full screen
It's called Chromeless Window. I've now discovered that
there is a security change to Windows XP sp2 that
prevents chromeless windows. it has nothing to do with
Publisher.
I'm sorry to have wasted your time
Thank you.
